I’m Nicky the crochet designer, blogger and yarn dyer behind Avery Lane Creations. I am passionate about inspiring and uplifting others through my love of crochet.

I believe the best way for crocheters to learn, grow and truly develop their skills is not by only doing but, also by seeing. That’s why I enjoy making video tutorials. My tutorials work well for both beginners and experienced crocheters because they are simple and straightforward. At the same time, they also encourage you to move beyond the basics.

My patterns are quick and fun with a modern flair and a touch of Southern charm! I love texture! So, don’t be surprised to find a lot of eye-catching patterns you’ll love to make and wear.

My love for crochet and beautiful yarn colors lead me to start dyeing yarn in December of 2019. What a beautiful journey that started me on. I now have a hand dyed yarn monthly subscription for crocheters and we have created an amazing community inside the ALC Yarn Club.
