Do you ever wish you had a small purse or something handy to put your phone in for quick, easy access?
I love to take walks and I was constantly wishing I had some kind of small crossbody bag or something to put my phone in. I would just stick my phone uncomfortably in my pants pocket or the elastic of my pants or well….my bra (you know you do it too LOL!).
It finally hit me to just crochet one! Let me introduce you to my Carry All Phone Purse.
It’s so nice to have this perfectly sized bag just for my phone. I like that it’s not too big so I don’t try to take my whole house with me but it’s big enough for my phone, keys and chapstick.
These bags would make perfect for gifts or for markets too! They work up quick and are so useful! I am sure your customers would love them.

Notes
This pattern uses American Standard Terms.
This pattern is worked in continuous rounds. You will want to place a stitch marker in the first ST of each round.
Watch your tension on your foundation STS. You will want loose tension because you will be working in the top and the bottom of your chain STS.
To create a tighter base with no gap in the middle, work in back bump of the foundation chain for the first part of Round 1.
Gauge Swatch Info
After Round 3, your work should measure 4 inches long and 1.5 inches wide
Round 1: SC in 2nd CH from hook, SC in ea CH in row until last CH, place 2SC, rotate work so you can work across the bottom of your CH, 2SC in CH you just worked in, SC in next 9 STS, 3SC in last ST (26)
Round 2: *SC in next 11 STS, 2SC in next 2 STS, repeat from * to finish round (30)
Round 3: *SC in next 12 STS, 2SC in next ST, SC, 2SC, repeat from * to finish round (34) work should measure 4 inches long and 1.5 inches wide after this round
Round 4: SC in ea ST (34)
Round 5: SCBLO in ea ST (34)
Round 6: *HHDC, SLST, repeat from * to finish round (34)
Round 7: *SLST, HHDC, repeat from * to finish round (34)
Round 8: SCBLO in ea ST (34)
Continue repeating Rounds 6, 7 & 8 until Round 32 (or until you reach your desired size). I like to end on a Round 8 Repeat.
Round 33: SC in ea ST (34)
Now you will start your strap.
Strap: SC in 1st 5 STS
*CH 1, turn, SC in ea ST (5), repeat from * until you reach your desired length; I made my strap 34 inches long (keep in mind that the weight of your phone will make the strap stretch some).
Once you reach your desired length. Fasten off leaving a long tail. You will use this tail to whip stitch the strap to the opposite side of your purse.
There you have it! I hope you enjoy this pattern and it’s one of those patterns that you want to make over and over again.
