Pebbles Beanie : Free Crochet Pattern
Have you ever loved making something so much that no matter how many you make, you never get tired of them? That is how I feel about making beanies. I seriously can binge make them for months at a time.
So, when I say that I am so excited to share my Pebbles Beanie crochet pattern with all of you. I really am! Beanies are my favorite items to design as well.
There are so many things that can be tweaked and changed to create a whole new look. I love how versatile they are.
You will find lots of texture in the Pebbles Beanie Pattern. Some thing I have so much fun with is creating new types of brims using a bit of a different technique.
I love to work brims in rounds instead of rows. This speeds up the process and gives a completely different look and texture to the brim.
One of my all time favorite beanie pattern designs is my Sassy Beanie, but I rarely make it anymore because the brim is worked in the rows.
It seems to take forever to make the brim. I have gotten really spoiled!

The Pebbles Beanie is extra special to me because it was the first pattern that I designed for my yarn club. I used my Fingerpaint yarns to make all of my pebbles beanies. “Fingerpaint” is a technique that I came up with to dye yarn and it results in one of a kind colorways. I just love all of the random pops of color that show up with these yarns.
I love seeing people enjoy their ALC yarn! It just brightens my day when they share pictures of their makes. You will find some of my yarn club members Pebbles Beanies throughout this blog post.

I made the pebbles beanie with ALC yarn. The whole time I was so nervous I wouldn’t have enough yarn as I got a big old head. So I made mine fitted, not slouchy but I totally could have done slouchy as I had lots left. This pattern is not a yarn eater but still has beautiful texture. Plus it’s always nice to learn new stitches

This is such a fun pattern to make! If you love patterns with lots of texture, then this is perfect. I used ALC fingerprint yarn for my beanie, topped off with a fun pompom. I have a lot of hair, and had more than enough yarn in one skein of DK to compensate for the extra size I needed. Can’t wait to make more for the chilly weather that will soon be upon us!

This beanie is a favorite! The texture is amazing and perfect for hand dyed yarn. I adore the brim and the fit is perfect!

I loved making this! I used ALC yarn. It was so soft – perfect for this beanie! My daughter claimed this before I even had it finished. The pattern was easy to read. Will be doing more of this one for sure!

This pattern is wonderful. It was one of my first written patterns I tried, and it was so easy to follow. The special stitch break down was unbelievably helpful, and helped make creating this so much easier. There is so much fun in this hat, the stitches are great, and the way it builds is just great! I’ve got another in the works too!

I made three of these hats using ALC yarn. The pattern is very easy to follow and customize. I love how the stitches allow me to show off each of the colors used in the yarn.

Love this beanie and the design lends itself to fun variegated yarns! Can’t wait to make as my first beanie for fall!

I made this beanie and love how it turned out! I used some ALC yarn I received in a subscription box. I was really pleased with how the texture turned out and how the pattern didn’t eat up the yarn. ❤

Is there a chart to follow for sizing if I wanted to make it smaller?
admin
Hey! I have a sizing chart in another beanie pattern blog post. I apologize for not including it in this one. Here is a link to that blog post. You can also pin the sizing chart for later use 🙂
